UPDATE: We have integrated the video of the workshop in this article.

The USTFCCCA Female Coaches Mentorship Program (FCMP) Committee is hosting a workshop for female coaches this weekend to build their coaching interview skills.

This 75-minute workshop is scheduled for Sunday, March 28 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) and can only be accessed through a direct link, which can be acquired by emailing Rhonda Riley, Head Coach of cross-country and assistant athletics coach. at Duke University.

Female coaches in attendance will hear from a panel of strong and dynamic coaches from various areas of the event providing answers to the most frequently asked interview questions.

After that, attendees will hear feedback on the answers given by people who could form a search committee, ranging from coaches who have served as both academic/compliance/faculty advisor, assistant athletic directors, directors and coaches in boss, etc.

Finally, participants will be guided by moderators, who extract sound discursive strategies, rhetorical techniques, and focused story choices used by panelists so they can better recognize consciousness within themselves.

Here are some of the workshop moderators/panelists:

  • Michelle Eisenreich, Princeton Director of Athletics and Cross Country
  • Ashley Bastron, assistant coach at Wake Forest (formerly head athletics coach at Purdue Fort Wayne)
  • Katrina Brumfield, head athletics coach at Oakland University
